But wait, there's more to do close to Lily Pond. You'll hit upon a striking lake called Round Pond near Lily Pond, and the view of Kench Mountain is pretty. For the duration of the long summer days at Lily Pond highs are regularly in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows sink down to the 50's. The winter comes       with highs in the 20's; after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Lily Pond sink into the 0's. Robin Hood Camp is a pleasant local campground, and if you want to hit the beach, Bakeman Beach is in the vicinity. You can run the rapids of Blue Hill Falls near Lily Pond; Deadman Cove is quite close. There's splendid hiking along the Blue Hill Trail, and a fine close by hotel is Eggemoggin Oceanfront Lodge. This lake is so wonderful. The Sawyer                  Notch Trail offers hiking at its best, and Gull Ledges is an exciting thing to see since you're here. Lily Pond is a good place of normal rain; the month with most of the rain is November; February is the month with the least moisture. While you're here at Lily Pond, you could also have a look at lovely Snake Pond. This place, Lily Pond, it absolutely has so much outdoors fun stuff. A quick visit to Billings Brook close to Lily Pond is a great idea, and on a perfect day it's a delightful idea to spend the day at Orchard Beach. A nice swamp in the vicinity of Lily Pond is Jerrys Meadow; close by you stumble on delightful places like Harbor Ledge. This lake is so wonderful.
