What a nice lake Lily Lake is. There are some perfect whitewater spots on Dennys River; if you come at the right time of year, Cathance Stream offers some tremendous whitewater. The high level of rain makes Lily Lake a quite wet spot; the wettest month of the year is typically November, that's the one that rains the most while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Don't forget to take a wonderful little tour to Pug Brook, and if you have time

| | to spare, Roosevelt Campobello International Park is a national park worth a visit. During the summertime at Lily Lake temperatures are mostly in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's, and overnight lows at Lily Lake during the wintertime mostly descend into the 0's. you came for an overnight stay Cobscook Bay State Park is a delightful place to camp; Porcupine Mountain is clearly visible from Lily Lake. Lily Lake is not the only place close by, Long Lake is a close by lake, and Knowlton's Seashore Campground is a nice campground nearby.
