If you are traveling by, why not stop by Lily Bay. After a long day outdoors Fairfield Inn & Suites Augusta is a fine place to spend a night or two, and a glorious location for whitewater paddling is Cobbosseecontee Stream. If you need a place to stay Comfort Inn Civic Center is a great choice; Lily Bay is not far at all from Augusta-Waterville. Whohoo, so much amusing stuff in one place! Lily Bay rules! Sidney Bog Brook is a great location to go to, and the Appalachian National Scenic Trail is a nice hiking trail nearby. The slopes of Eaton Mountain are so inviting noone can resist, and Joe Pond is a nearby lake that you could stop by. | |

Lily Bay commonly gets a lot of rain; November is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is February.
You'll need more than a day to look at everything Lily Bay has to offer, you can camp at Great Pond Campground.
This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Lily Bay that you need to camp here for a while, Whisperwood Lodge & Cottages is a great place for that, and a lake close by is Gould Pond.
