Pond if you have a chance, and from Lilly Pond you get a tremendous view of Mount Battie. High temperatures at Lilly Pond all through the summer months are in the 70's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge
down into the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are ordinarily in the 30's with temperatures at Lilly Pond dipping down into the 10's all through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Camden
Hills RV Resort, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Spring Brook Trail. Looking for some flowing water? Try Goose River; after a long day outdoors Camden Harbour Inn is a fine place to spend a night or two. There
are some fine whitewater spots on Oyster River; nothing beats kicking back at Laite Memorial Beach. At Lilly Pond you always meet someone from Rockland, and Camden is a good local ski area. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from
Lilly Pond you acquire some magnificent water scenery at Knox Mill Dam, and if you come at the right time of year, Ducktrap River offers some brilliant whitewater.
