Going for a hike on the Mount Battie Trail is always a magnificent adventure. Lakes? Sure, Knox Mill Pond is in the vicinity. Ducktrap River has a nice whitewater paddling spot nearby, and obviously Goose River flows through this vicinity. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Mount Megunticook Trail, and at Knox Mill Dam next to Lilly Pond there are some attention-grabbing things to see. That right there is a load already, but it continues; Lilly Pond has it all. Don't leave Lilly Pond without first going for a hike along the Spring Brook Trail; Blue Harbor House Inn is a fine location to get some rest. Really great skiing awaits you at Camden, and why not stop at Beauchamp Point also since you're here. And that's not all you can do here at Lilly Pond.
