A visit to Lilly Pond is always a good idea. Stay the night at Megunticook Campground By The Sea By-the-sea, and a lake nearby is Knox Mill Pond. Summertime at Lilly Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 30's with temperatures at Lilly Pond dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. There's no such thing as

| | a bad day of skiing at nearby Camden, and Goose River Golf Course is a fine golf course nearby.
Goose River flows through this area, and dry warm beds await you at Glenmoor By the Sea. Oyster River has a nice whitewater paddling spot close by. Hog Cove Ledge is a delightful site to explore; at Knox Mill Dam next to Lilly Pond there are some out of the ordinary things to see.

weather is good here at Lilly Pond, you can go for a hike along the Mount Megunticook Trail, and you can spend the day on the beach at Laite Memorial Beach. A visit to close by Beauchamp Point is very relaxing, and the Spring Brook
Trail is a delightful hiking trail close by. Lilly Pond is a wet location that gets a lot of precipitation; November is the month that gets the most rain while July is ordinarily the driest month.
At Lilly Pond you always meet
someone from Rockland; Camden Hills RV Resort is a perfect campground here. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Lilly Pond. Camden Harbour Inn is a wonderful place to get some rest; if you don't mind getting wet, you
can always go whitewater paddling on Ducktrap River. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Lilly Pond you can take a hike along the Mount Battie Trail; you can see Mount Battie from Lilly Pond.
