Get drenched paddling on St. George River. Lakes are fine; Tolman Pond is a lake that's near Lermond Pond. All through the warm days of summer, highs generally are in the 80's at Lermond Pond. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Lermond Pond       temperatures sink to the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Lermond Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Alford Lake Camp is a fine site for that, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Mount Megunticook Trail. A round of golf at nearby Rockland Golf Club is a wonderful way to kill some time. After a long day outdoors The Country Inn Camden-Rckprt is a fine location to spend a night or two; an interesting thing to                  have a look at next to Lermond Pond is Alford Lake Dam. Head up to Camden and strap some skis to your feet, and you can stay the night at Mic Mac Cove Camp Ground. From a precipitation point of view Lermond Pond is a rather common place; throughout November this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is February. At Lermond Pond you can observe Meadow Mountain, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Lermond Pond; Ragged Mountain Trail is a tremendous local trail. If you want a great time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Lermond Pond. Dry warm beds await you at Island View Inn, and Lermond Pond is right by the Mount Battie Trail.
