There's so much to do here at Lerman Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Alford Lake Camp is a brilliant place for that. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay The Country Inn Camden-Rckprt is a brilliant choice, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at close by Lermond Pond. Having a great time at Lerman Pond is easy. Stay the night at Mic Mac       Cove Camp Ground, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Mount Megunticook Trail. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend St. George River, and obviously, this is a delightful neighborhood for folks who like lakes, Alford Lake is a lake nearby. Summertime highs at Lerman Pond generally tend to be in the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. All through the wintertime highs are regularly in the 30's                  with temperatures at Lerman Pond dipping down into the 0's during winter nights. Very wonderful scenery and good skiing is what you get at Camden, and Island View Inn is a brilliant spot to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Have a good hiking adventure along the Ragged Mountain Trail, and don't forget to take a delightful little spree to Mill Stream. The amount of rainfall that falls at Lerman Pond is close to the national average; the month with most of the rain is November; February on the other hand is the driest. Why not take a look at East Union Dam while you're here; you're sure to come across some fine people from Rockland here.
