The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Leonard Lake with nighttime lows in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Leonard Lake. Black Point is near Leonard Lake and is a great place to check out, and whitewater paddling       is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Union River. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because White Birches Motel & Golf Course is in the neighborhood, and a day at Jesse Beach is time well spent. Don't stop me now, cause I'm havin' a wonderful time here at Leonard Lake. There are other sites here than Leonard Lake, for example Lake Leonard, and if you're looking for a delightful spree, Acadia National Park is reasonably near.                  You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool things at Leonard Lake. Take a hike on the Eagle Lake Trail, and Twilite Motel is a great spot to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. There's always Ellsworth Dam to take a look at right next door to Leonard Lake, and camping at Hospitality Woods RV Park is always a pleasant experience. This lake is so wonderful. Have a splendid hiking adventure along the Great Long Pond Trail, and during your stay here do visit nearby Hales Beach. A quick visit to Branch Lake Stream in the neighborhood of Leonard Lake is a perfect idea, and dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Ellsworth. Hiking along the Blue Hill Trail is tremendous fun; a glorious site to camp here at Leonard Lake is The Gatherings Family Campground.
