Eastbrook Campground is a glorious campground nearby, and Leighton River Dam is wonderful. But wait,       there's more to do near Leighton River Reservoir. Don't forget to take a wonderful little visit to Sevenmile Brook, and close by you hit upon the Eagle Lake Trail which is a perfect hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. Leighton River Reservoir is a tremendous place to visit for more than one day, Mountain View Campground is a tremendous place to camp nearby, and the Lead Mountain Trail is a magnificent hiking trail nearby. One of the main characteristics                  of the surroundings of Leighton River Reservoir is Birch Hill, and glide down the rapids of Union River - East Branch in a kayak. All through the warmest time of the year at Leighton River Reservoir temperatures are frequently in the 70's. Through the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Leighton River Reservoir.
