There are some pleasant whitewater spots on St. George River; while you're here you can take a hike along the Mount Megunticook Trail. A common amount of rain falls here at Ledge Pond; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain; February on the other hand is the driest. Do go to Kingdom Bog in the neighborhood of Ledge Pond, it's a wonderful lake, and if you came to camp Cozy Pines Campground is a great place to do that. This lake is so wonderful.

A cool spot to visit near Ledge Pond is Hogback Ledge; there's whitewater on Sheepscot River for all you adrenaline people. So much fun stuff to do at Ledge Pond, so little time. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Camden if you're here, and Hogback Mountain is painless | |

Inn. High temperatures at Ledge Pond all through the summer months are in the 80's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and winter nights come with
lows in the 0's to Ledge Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Ragged Mountain Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood; Ledge Pond is good enough to spend more than a day at, Pine Ridge Campgrounds is a good local campground.
