If you are traveling by, why not stop by Ledge Pond. You can never get enough of the great skiing at Black Mountain; hiking along the Chimney Trail is glorious fun. This lake is so wonderful. Piazza Rock is an attention-grabbing spot to pop by while at Ledge Pond, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Sandy River - South Branch. Now, you may think that's heaps but there's even more fun stuff to do here in the White

| | Mountains. Black Brook Cove Campground is a great local campground, and there are some tremendous whitewater spots on Sandy River.
So much entertaining stuff to do here at Ledge Pond, too delightful to be true. The Perennial Inn is a great place to get some rest, and Ledge Pond is right by the Piazza Rock Trail. August you get the most rain around here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
Skiing at Saddleback is one of those things you just ought to do, and Ledge Pond is a delightful location to visit for
more than one day, Coos Canyon Cabins and Campground is a delightful location to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful. At Ledge Pond through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows plunge down to
the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 20's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Ledge Pond.
Whohoo, so many enjoyable things in one place! The White Mountains is unbeatable! A golf course next to Ledge Pond is Evergreen Golf Club & Golf School, and do take a hike on the Brook Trail.
