This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Coos Canyon Cabins and Campground, and since you're here at Ledge Pond, checking out Piazza Rock is a must. During the months of summer highs here at Ledge Pond get into the 70's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 20's with winter lows in the-10's       overnight here at Ledge Pond. These mountains rock, just look at all the cool stuff to do in the White Mountains. Ledge Pond is a pleasant site to visit for more than one day, Black Brook Cove Campground is a pleasant site to camp nearby, and there's pleasant hiking along the Brook Trail. Paddling on Sandy River - South Branch is so much fun, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Ledge Pond; Chimney Trail is a glorious local trail. If you want a great                  time in the great outdoors just come on up to the White Mountains. Good hiking is available along the Piazza Rock Trail, and a day on the slopes of Saddleback is just what you need. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool things at Ledge Pond.
