Camping is available at Frost Pond Campground, and going for a hike along the Old Telos Tote Road will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Leadbetter Pond. If you come at the right time of year, Smith Brook offers some great whitewater, and you can have a magnificent hiking adventure along the Carry Trail. Through the warmest time of the year at Leadbetter       Pond temperatures are commonly in the 70's, and the overnight is a little colder of course, regularly in the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 20's, and overnight lows at Leadbetter Pond throughout the wintertime frequently dip into the-10's. Leadbetter Pond gets a typical amount of rain; throughout the month of July you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. Take a little visit                  to Leadbetter Brook while you're here at Leadbetter Pond; hiking along the Telephone Trail is delightful fun. You're probably interested in lakes, Little Indian Pond is one of those nearby; there are some good whitewater spots on Ellis Brook. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Big Squaw.
