Going for a hike on the Old Telos Tote Road is always a pleasant adventure, and what would winter be without some skiing at Big Squaw. Leadbetter Pond gets a typical amount of precipitation; July is the wettest month with most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. This is no location for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. On a magnificent day at Leadbetter Pond you       can take a hike along the Telephone Trail, and swing by Leadbetter Brook it's a tremendous place to explore. A nice location to camp here at Leadbetter Pond is Frost Pond Campground, and get your heart pumping on the wonderful whitewater of Smith Brook. This lake is so wonderful. There is a good hiking trail near Leadbetter Pond called the Carry Trail, and a fine place for whitewater paddling is Ellis Brook. Summertime highs at Leadbetter Pond usually tend to                  be in the 70's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's.
