     South Branch Lake Camp is a perfect campground nearby, and there are some brilliant whitewater spots on Piscataquis River. Endless Lake is a nearby lake that you could check out; during your visit here you'll meet some folks from Bangor for sure. Lard Pond gets a common amount of annual rain; July is the month that gets the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Lake Trail, and if you get bored  
   of Lard Pond you could also explore close by Hardy Pond.
This lake is so wonderful. A fine close by hotel is Americas Best Value Heritage Motor Inn. For the period of the days of summer, highs typically are in the 70's at Lard Pond. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 20's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Lard Pond. Have a fine hiking adventure along the Shore Trail, and get
 
               yourself into a kayak and hit Schoodic Stream.
Lard Pond is right by the Lard Camp Trail, and Lard Pond is a magnificent location to visit for more than one day, King's Trailer Park is a magnificent location to camp nearby. Lard Pond really is in the middle of a pretty outdoors paradise.
