Lard Pond is a perfect location to visit for more than one day, Maine Campground Owners Association is a perfect location to camp nearby, and Chandler Brook has a wonderful whitewater paddling spot nearby. Summertime at Lard Pond comes with high temperatures in the 70's while overnight lows are commonly in the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 20's, and after the sun is down through       the winter temperatures at Lard Pond descend into the 0's. Lard Pond gets a large amount of water; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. So many cool things to do here at Lard Pond, too delightful to be true. You get a good vista of Dillingham Hill from Lard Pond, and there are plenty of folks from Lewiston-Auburn here at Lard Pond.
