    If you are in this part of Maine make sure to pay a visit to Lamb Brook Pond. Lamb Brook Pond gets a normal amount of rain; most of the rain falls through July; the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is tremendous here at Lamb Brook Pond, you can go for a hike along the Kennedy Tote Road; Shiretown Motor Inn is a nice place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Lamb Brook Pond is perfect enough to spend more than  
   a day at, My Brothers Place is a perfect local campground, and Bigrock has glorious slopes and a friendly staff.
High temperatures at Lamb Brook Pond during the months of summer are in the 70's, and the overnight is fairly cooler of course, usually in the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 20's while Lamb Brook Pond overnight low temperatures during the winter are in the 0's. Lakes are magnificent; Timoney Lake is a lake that's in close
 
               proximity to Lamb Brook Pond, and drift down the rapids of Mattawamkeag River - East Branch in a kayak. Whohoo, so much amusing stuff in one place! Lamb Brook Pond rocks! Swamps don’t sound that tremendous but Caineron Bog close to Lamb Brook Pond is rather tremendous; the Sweets Trail is a magnificent hiking trail nearby.
There's always Lamb Brook Dam to stop at right next door to Lamb Brook Pond. There's so much to do here at Lamb Brook Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Wilde Pines Campground is a wonderful site for that. Lamb Brook is near Lamb Brook Pond and is always a joy to stop by, and going for a hike along the Pierce Tote Road will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. Get yourself into a kayak and hit B Stream, and after a long day outdoors Scottish Inns Houlton is a magnificent spot to spend a night or two.
