There's so much to do here at Lake Auburn that you need to camp here for a while, Maine Campground Owners Association is a fine spot for that. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Lake Auburn. Throughout the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 60's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the       10's to Lake Auburn. This lake is so wonderful. At Lake Auburn you can see Mount Giles; Lake Auburn Dam is a place that is near Lake Auburn. After a long day outdoors Residence Inn Auburn is a delightful place to spend a night or two, and Lake Auburn is a place with many visitors from Lewiston-Auburn. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this place. If you need a place to stay Travelodge Lewiston is a glorious choice; if you like skiing, you're in luck;                  Lost Valley is rather near. A lake close by is Gulf Island Pond, and Lake Auburn is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Allen Pond Campground is a perfect local campground. Whitewater paddling is fine on Nezinscot River, and on a tremendous day it's a glorious idea to spend the day at Auburn Municipal Beach. Lake Auburn gets much water; throughout the month of November you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is September. This lake is so wonderful.
