A stunning lake like Millinocket Lake in close proximity to Kyle Pond is a nice location to stop at, and a splendid place to camp here at Kyle Pond is Matagamon Wilderness Campground. The amount of precipitation that falls at Kyle Pond is close to the national average; through the month of July you get the most rain around here, and February is when       it's the driest. Don't leave Kyle Pond without first going for a hike along the Munsungan Lake Tote Road. This place rules, just explore all the amusing stuff to do right next door to Kyle Pond. There are fine places to look at along the Freezeout Road; camping is available at South Branch Pond Campground. Going for a hike on the Eagle Lake Tote Road is always a good adventure, and Little Millinocket Lake is a great lake close by. Summertime highs at Kyle                  Pond ordinarily tend to be in the 70's while night lows are generally in the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Kyle Pond. This lake is so wonderful.
