    Beautiful Klondike Pond has much to offer visitors. This lake is so wonderful. There's brilliant hiking along the Northwest Basin Trail. High temperatures at Klondike Pond through the summer months are in the 70's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 20's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Klondike Pond. Klondike Pond gets a common amount of yearly rainfall; July is the wettest month with  
   most rain; February is when it's the driest.
What a place this is for outdoors folks. You can run the rapids of Nesowadnehunk Stream close to Klondike Pond; Klondike Pond is a brilliant location to visit for more than one day, South Branch Pond Campground is a brilliant location to camp nearby. Get your heart pumping on the nice whitewater of Nesowadnehunk Stream River, and if the weather is delightful, you get a fine panorama of Hamlin Peak from Klondike
 
               Pond. The Abol Trail offers hiking at its best, and do set aside some time for Northwest Basin since you're here at Klondike Pond.
Klondike Pond is in the neighborhood of Witherle Ravine which is positively worth visiting, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Abot Trail. You need to check out Table Land if you're here at Klondike Pond, and Caribou Spring is an inspiring place to stop at during your stay. This lake is so wonderful. Chimney Pond Campground is a glorious campground nearby; if you need a location to stay Katahdin Inn is a tremendous choice.
