In Maine there are many beautiful lakes, Klondike Pond is one of them. For the duration of the warmest time of the year at Klondike Pond temperatures are ordinarily in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows drop down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's with temperatures at Klondike Pond dipping down into the-10's all through winter nights. From a rain point of view Klondike Pond is a pretty typical place; through the month of July you get the most rain around here, and February is when it's the driest. Nesowadnehunk Stream offers some good whitewater. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Klondike Pond has to offer, you can camp at Chimney Pond Campground, and wonderful hiking is available along the Abol Trail.
So much entertaining stuff to do here at Klondike Pond, too glorious to be true. Don't leave Klondike Pond without first going for a hike along the Northwest Basin Trail, naturally you could also check out Lake Cowles while you're
here; it's not far at all. No need to travel far to pop by exciting stuff like Table Land; Katahdin Inn is a splendid place to get some rest. You get a good sight of Hamlin Peak from Klondike Pond; most likely you're looking for nearby
lakes? Sure, Davis Pond is just a very short distance away. This lake is so wonderful. Witherle Ravine is a brilliant place to discover; don't leave Klondike Pond without first paying a visit to Caribou Spring.
