    King and Bartlett Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. And that's not all you can do here at King and Bartlett Lake. You'll need more than a day to look at everything King and Bartlett Lake has to offer, you can camp at Black Arrow Lodge; hiking along the Fire Warden Trail is perfect fun. Through the summer months, highs typically are in the 70's at King and Bartlett Lake with night lows in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are generally  
   in the 20's; overnight lows at King and Bartlett Lake through the winter generally drop into the-10's. Gotta ski! Sugarloaf USA is a great place to do that. Lakes? Sure, Little King Lake is in close proximity.
King and Bartlett Lake gets a typical amount of annual rain; July is the wettest month with most rain while February is generally the driest month. A wonderful place for whitewater paddling in the neighborhood of King and Bartlett Lake is Spencer Stream,
 
               and do take a hike on the Bigelow Range Trail. The summit of Black Nubble can be seen from King and Bartlett Lake, and you can run the rapids of Parlin Pond Stream.
This lake is so wonderful. Have a magnificent hiking adventure along the Sally Mountain Trail. There's so much to do here at King and Bartlett Lake that you need to camp here for a while, King & Bartlett Lake Camp is a glorious spot for that, and beautiful scenery and splendid skiing is what you obtain at Saddleback. This lake is so wonderful. An interesting thing to visit next to King and Bartlett Lake is King-Bartlett Lake Dam, and Porter Pond is a brilliant lake close by.

I've been visiting Bugeye Pond for as long as I've been alive as my family owns one of the two camps on it and I've always found it to be a very pristine and relaxing place. Aside from snowmobile noise in the winter and traffic on route 27, I would have to say it is the most gorgeous place in Maine. As for the fishing, I haven't been there since I actually began fishing so I can't really attest to that. My parents were up there this past weekend and said there were people on the pond all weekend long, but they never saw anybody land a brookie despite the abundant rises....
