The Sweets Trail is a glorious hiking trail next to Ketchum Lake, and a nice location for whitewater paddling is B Stream. Summertime at Ketchum Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's while nighttime lows are mostly in the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 20's, and night lows during the winter for Ketchum Lake tend to be in the 0's. Just can't       get enough of Ketchum Lake. If you get bored of Ketchum Lake, you could also have a look at close by Water District Reservoir, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Jimson Brook. In case you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Meduxnekeag River - South Branch, and nearby you discover the Pierce Tote Road which is a brilliant hiking trail. The annual precipitation here at Ketchum Lake is about average; July                  is the month that gets the most rain while February is regularly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Kennedy Tote Road is always a pleasant adventure; after a long day outdoors Shiretown Motor Inn is a perfect place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Ketchum Lake is not the only place nearby, Number Nine Lake is a nearby lake; camping at Neil E Michaud Campground is always a good experience.
