    Beautiful Keoka Lake has much to offer visitors. Bear Mountain is trouble-free to spot from Keoka Lake, and after a long day outdoors The Bethel Inn Resort is a great location to spend a night or two. Pleasant Mountain Inn is a magnificent place to get some rest, and swamps like Town Farm Swamp near Keoka Lake make for tremendous sites to have a look at. There are other places here than Keoka Lake, for example Bear Pond, and there's tremendous hiking along the Albany  
   Brook Trail.
The Albany Mountain Trail offers hiking at its best, and you can hit the slopes at Shawnee Peak close at hand. At Keoka Lake during the warm months highs are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's while Keoka Lake overnight low temperatures all through the winter are in the-10's. This location is so good, just check out all the enjoyable stuff to do right next door to Keoka
 
               Lake. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Crooked River; not far from Keoka Lake you'll locate McWain Pond which is a wonderful lake.
A common amount of precipitation falls here at Keoka Lake; August is the wettest month with most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Papoose Pond Camping Resort is a great spot to camp, and Keoka Lake is right by the Albany Notch Trail. Any time is a tremendous time at Keoka Lake if you go for the outdoors.
This lake is so wonderful. It's a magnificent idea to pop by Kedar Brook, it's in the vicinity of Keoka Lake, and Bear Pond Dam is a lovely place, certainly worth stopping at. Bear Mountain Village is a tremendous local campground, and Mount Abram is a very popular ski area in close proximity.

My sister and I put in just below eddes falls this summer and kayaked all the way to sebago lake. Nice trip....My friend Dan and I ran part of this section last summer. Instead of putting in at Scribner's Mill, we launched from Edes Falls, just above the Rapids. It was a good inroduction to whitewater. Dan flipped within the first five minutes, but being that the water is relatively shallow, he did little more than get wet on a hot summers day. The Route 302 bridge is a logical pull out spot. There is a large mass of debris blocking passage of the river there. The only tricky part is that the walls of the riverband are steep and slippery, so it helps to have someone with you for the portage....
