Kennebec River Reservoir is a wonderful spot to visit for more than one day, Green Valley Campground is a wonderful spot to camp nearby, and the scenery at Milstar Dam is stunning. Lots of folks from Augusta-Waterville come to Kennebec River Reservoir, and hey, Holland Brook is a great local stream. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Sheepscot       River - West Branch, and Best Western Waterville Inn is a great spot to get some rest. A normal amount of rain falls here at Kennebec River Reservoir; November is the month that gets the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. What a spot this is for outdoors folks. There are some splendid whitewater spots on Sebasticook River; if you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Waterville,Me is a brilliant choice. This lake is so wonderful. Eaton                  Mountain is a magnificent local ski area; Countryside Camping is a perfect local campground. During the summertime months at Kennebec River Reservoir temperatures are commonly in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's.
