While you're here at Kennebago River Reservoir you can take a hike along the Bemis Trail, and Kennebago Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors entertaining stuff the area in close proximity to Kennebago River Reservoir has to offer. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Kennebago River  
   Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Cupsuptic Campground; get drenched paddling on Kennebago River. For the period of the summertime highs here at Kennebago River Reservoir reach the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's; night lows in the-10's for Kennebago River Reservoir.
The skiing at Black Mountain is good, and if you get bored of Kennebago River Reservoir you could also stop by
 
               nearby Johns Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Lower Station Dam is an interesting thing to check out. The high level of rain makes Kennebago River Reservoir a rather wet place; the month with most of the rain is August while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
If you like skiing, you're in luck; Saddleback is close to Kennebago River Reservoir, and drift down the rapids of Dead River - South Branch in a kayak. Hiking along the Milrose Trail is brilliant fun. There's so much to do here at Kennebago River Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, North Camps is a pleasant spot for that. Otter Brook is a stream that you may run into while here, and you can have a pleasant hiking adventure along the Morrell Trail.

I've been visiting Bugeye Pond for as long as I've been alive as my family owns one of the two camps on it and I've always found it to be a very pristine and relaxing place. Aside from snowmobile noise in the winter and traffic on route 27, I would have to say it is the most gorgeous place in Maine. As for the fishing, I haven't been there since I actually began fishing so I can't really attest to that. My parents were up there this past weekend and said there were people on the pond all weekend long, but they never saw anybody land a brookie despite the abundant rises....

I used to climb up as a kid, and I still love it. It is a fairly easy hike, but worth it at the end. There is one small brook crossing, but other then that, it is a great place to take kids young and old....

We stayed at South Arm campground and paddled the lake every day. One night we rented a wilderness site and tented from canoes. We also drove down the road and hiked out and back on the AT.

Additional snow guns were added in various locations including Tight Line and the headwalls of Warden's Worry and Supervisor - all in the new quad area. Plus snowmaking coverage was extended to America.
CENTRAL RESERVATION AND PACKAGING SYSTEM
A new Inntopia Central Reservation and Packaging System will allow Saddleback to book lodging, Ski & Stay and other packages at the lodges in the town of Rangeley as well as the condominiums at the mountain.
NEW RENTAL AND RETAIL SHOPS
Saddleback will now operate the rental and retail shops in the base lodge that were previously operated by a lessee. This season the rental shop will have a new fleet of rental skis, boards, boots, bindings and poles. The retail shop will have a new inventory of clothing and accessories.
