If you are in Hancock county it's always a good idea to stop by Keisers Pond. If the weather is beautiful, you get a nice panorama of Great Brook Hill from Keisers Pond; one of the best things about this place is its proximity to Jesse Beach. Keisers Pond is a nice site to camp, Branch Lake Camping Area is a nice site, and Porcupine Ledge is a delightful place to pop by while in the region. This lake is so wonderful. | | is a wonderful site to spend a night or two, and there is a great hiking trail nearby called the Blue Hill Trail.
Stay the night at The Gatherings Family Campground, and do stop at Boggy Brook if you're here at Keisers Pond. An average amount of precipitation falls at Keisers Pond; November is the wettest month with most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. Beaches are pleasant; and Dunn Beach near Keisers Pond is no exception.
Why not stop at Northeast Cove also while you're here, and if the weather is wonderful, you can go for a hike along the Bald Mountain Trail. All through the
summertime months, highs regularly are in the 70's at Keisers Pond. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. Throughout the winter the highs are frequently in the 20's, and overnight lows in the 0's for Keisers Pond. This
lake is so wonderful. A charming lake like Green Lake in the neighborhood of Keisers Pond is a nice place to take a look at; dry warm beds await you at White Birches Country Club.
So much entertaining stuff in the neighborhood
of Keisers Pond, absolutely extraordinary. Paddling on Union River is so much fun, and a round of golf at nearby White Birches Motel & Golf Course is a tremendous way to kill some time. Whitewater paddling is delightful on Branch Lake Stream, and the Peaked Mountain Trail is a wonderful hiking trail nearby.
