If you are in Hancock county it's always a good idea to stop by Jordan Pond. So much cool stuff to do at Jordan Pond, so little time. The Jordan Pond Shore Trail is a nice hiking trail near Jordan Pond, and if you're interested in hydro structures, you can explore Water Company Dam. Just can't get enough of Jordan Pond. There's so much to do here at Jordan Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Mt Desert Campground is a splendid site for that, and you

| | can run the rapids of Branch Lake Stream. On a great day at Jordan Pond you can take a hike along the Jordan Pond East Side Trail, and Birch Spring is a glorious local attraction.
Getting to Bubble Brook from Jordan Pond is easy, and Hunters Beach is a stunning beach to stop at. This lake is so wonderful. Tumbledown Cove is around here and always nice to have a look at. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Jordan Pond has to offer, you can camp | |

at Camp Store. Nearby Triad Pass is a great place to go if you're at Jordan Pond, and after a long day outdoors Bar Harbor-Days Inn Frenchman's Bay is a delightful spot to spend a night or two.
This lake is so wonderful. If the
weather is gorgeous, you get a great panorama of Barr Hill from Jordan Pond. Jordan Pond regularly gets a lot of rain; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest month of the year is August. This lake is
so wonderful. Amphitheater Valley is a perfect place here at Jordan Pond, and a trip to Gilley Beach is always a great idea.
If time allows, Acadia National Park is a national park worth visiting, and you'll stumble on a stunning
lake called Beaver Dam Pond. A striking lake like The Tarn near Jordan Pond is a great spot to have a look at, and a fine nearby hotel is Highbrook Motel. There is a brilliant hiking trail near Jordan Pond called the Jordan Pond West
Side Trail, and get your pulse rate up on the delightful whitewater of Union River.
All through the summertime highs here at Jordan Pond reach the 70's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into
the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 30's; during the dark hours in the wintertime at Jordan Pond temperatures sink to the 10's.
