A visit to Jones Pond is always a good idea. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Falls Brook; the Rocky Mountain Trail is a tremendous hiking trail nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Jones Pond is a brilliant location to visit for more than one day, Lakeview Campgrounds is a brilliant location to camp nearby. Summertime at Jones Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 70's with night lows in the 50's. All through

Get your heart pumping on the great whitewater of St. Francis River, and you can stay the night at Little Black Check Point. A normal amount of rainfall falls here at Jones Pond; August is when you get the most rain here; February is when it's the driest. | |
