Johns Pond gets a typical amount of yearly rain; July is the wettest month with most rain; the driest of the months is February. There are some good whitewater spots on Enchanted Stream. Johns Pond really is in the middle of a scenic outdoors paradise. Really good skiing awaits you at Sugarloaf USA; the Fire Warden Trail is a wonderful hiking trail nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Enchanted Outfitters       & Lodge is a glorious campground nearby, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Sally Mountain Trail. If you came for an overnight stay Loon Echo Campground is a great place to camp, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Arnolds Trail. For the duration of the days of summer at Johns Pond temperatures are frequently in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows plunge down to the 50's.
