    The beauty of John Gray Pond is reason enough to stop by. This lake is so wonderful. You'll locate a beautiful lake called Parker Pond near John Gray Pond; a quick tour to Deep Bridge Brook is unquestionably a great idea. This lake is so wonderful. A pleasant nearby hotel is Eggemoggin Oceanfront Lodge. On a gorgeous day you can take a look at Birchhead Shore in the neighborhood of John Gray Pond, and a tremendous site for whitewater paddling is Blue Hill Falls.
 
   There's magnificent hiking along the Sawyer Notch Trail. There's so much to do here at John Gray Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Sunshine Campground is a nice site for that. For the period of the summer months, highs generally are in the 70's at John Gray Pond with overnight lows in the 50's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's, and night lows in the 0's for John Gray Pond. Best Western Fort Knox Inn is a great place to  
               get some rest. You'll need more than a day to look at everything John Gray Pond has to offer, you can camp at Robin Hood Camp.
John Gray Pond gets a normal amount of rainfall; through November this area sees the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. The vista of Caterpillar Mountain from John Gray Pond is scenic, and don't leave John Gray Pond without first going for a hike along the Blue Hill Trail. You believe that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. Good hiking is available along the Old Cove Trail, and in case you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Goose Falls.
