There's always Spencer Stream Dam to visit near Joe Pokum Pond. There's so much to do here at Joe Pokum Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Black Arrow Lodge is a brilliant place for that. Having a tremendous time at Joe Pokum Pond is simple. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Bigelow Range Trail, and why not head up to Sugarloaf USA and strap some       skis to your feet. This is a glorious neighborhood for folks who like lakes. King and Bartlett Lake is a lake in the neighborhood; if you came to camp King & Bartlett Lake Camp is a tremendous place to do that. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are splendid; Blakeslee Lake is a lake that's in the neighborhood of Joe Pokum Pond, and you can have a pleasant hiking adventure along the Sally Mountain Trail. From a precipitation point of view Joe Pokum Pond is                  a quite normal location; most of the rain falls through July, and February is the month with the least moisture. Whitewater paddling is great on Parlin Pond Stream, and don't forget to take a good little journey to Kibby Stream. Dry warm beds await you at Wilson Lake Inn; the snow is brilliant at Saddleback. Throughout the days of summer at Joe Pokum Pond temperatures are mostly in the 70's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Joe Pokum Pond temperatures dip to the-10's.
