     Lakes are nice; Johnston Pond is a lake that's in the neighborhood of Jo-Mary Pond, and you can run the rapids of Pleasant River - East Branch. The Jo-Mary Trail is a good hiking trail next to Jo-Mary Pond, and from Jo-Mary Pond you get a great sight of Cedar Mountain. There's so much to do here at Jo-Mary Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Jo-mary Lake Campground is a great place for that, and do take a look at Gauntlet Brook since you're here  
   at Jo-Mary Pond. Jo-Mary Pond gets a typical amount of yearly precipitation; the wettest month of the year is typically July, that's the one that rains the most while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
This lake is so wonderful. Really glorious skiing awaits you at Big Squaw. And if that's not sufficient, there's a heap more to do near Jo-Mary Pond. Going for a hike on the Pleasant River Trail is always a brilliant adventure, and
 
               Nahmakanta Stream is a good whitewater spot nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Near Jo-Mary Pond you find the Number Two Trail which is a magnificent hiking trail, and if you came to camp Big Moose Campground is a great place to do that.
You're most likely keen on lakes, Cedar Pond is one of those nearby, and Gauntlet Falls is an inspiring location to explore while here. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Jo-Mary Pond. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 20's with temperatures at Jo-Mary Pond dipping down into the-10's through winter nights.
