    Jims Pond is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. This lake is so wonderful. Bear River is a delightful place to visit. Jims Pond gets a typical amount of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is August, and the driest month is February. If you fancy the outdoors you'll fancy it here in the White Mountains. If you come at the right time of year, Black Brook offers some brilliant whitewater; there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing  
   at nearby Mount Abram.
This lake is so wonderful. There is a fine hiking trail right next door to Jims Pond called the Albany Notch Trail, and a pleasant location to camp here at Jims Pond is Stony Brook Rec. and Camping. And if you're still looking for more outdoors cool stuff just keep reading. Bean Mountain is easy to spot from Jims Pond, and drift down the rapids of Sunday River in a kayak. Dry warm beds await you at Grand Summit Resort Sunday River;
 
               since you're here you can take a hike along the Albany Brook Trail.
Through the summertime months, highs usually are in the 70's at Jims Pond, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Highs during the winter are commonly in the 20's while Jims Pond overnight low temperatures through the winter are in the-10's. This lake is one of the great places here in the White Mountains. This place, the White Mountains, has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. If you need a location to stay Chapman Inn is a brilliant choice, and on a good day you can take a hike along the Albany Mountain Trail.
Really pleasant skiing awaits you at Sunday River, and why not camp at Bethel Outdoor Adventures Campground since you're here at Jims Pond.
