Jims Pond is a lake worth visiting. Going for a hike on the Albany Notch Trail is always a great adventure. Now, you may believe that's a heap but there's even more exciting things to do here in the White Mountains. This is a tremendous region for folks who like lakes. There is a glorious hiking trail near Jims Pond called the Albany Brook Trail; the snow is great at Mount Abram. So much entertaining stuff near Jims Pond, absolutely incredible. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes
