All the water falling down from the sky makes Jimmy Pond a wet site; November is when you get the most rain here; September is the month with the least moisture. The sight of Danforth       Hill from Jimmy Pond is lovely, and if you need a spot to stay Travel Inn is a brilliant choice. This lake is so wonderful. Gotta ski! Lost Valley is a splendid location to do that. There's tremendous hiking along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail; float down the rapids of Cathance River in a kayak. This lake is so wonderful. A magnificent place to camp here at Jimmy Pond is The Birches Campground, and get covered with water paddling on Cobbosseecontee                  Stream. Through the summertime here at Jimmy Pond, high temperatures generally get into the 80's. Summer overnight lows sink down to the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's while Jimmy Pond night low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 10's. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this spot.
