The beauty of Jewett Pond attracts many people from all around. Going for a hike on the Gulf Hagas Trail is always a pleasant adventure; Big Squaw is a great local ski area. Don't stop me now, cause I'm havin' a wonderful time here at Jewett Pond. Dry warm beds await you at Lodge at Moosehead Lake, and nearby you come across the Number Four Mountain Trail which is a pleasant hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. | | you need to camp here for a while, Casey's Spencer Bay Campground is a brilliant location for that, and get soaked paddling on Roach River.
The annual precipitation here at Jewett Pond is about average; most of the rain falls during July, and the driest of the months is February. For the period of the summer months at Jewett Pond highs are commonly in the 70's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. Highs during the winter are usually in the 20's; | |
