This lake is so wonderful. A great nearby hotel is Americas Best Value Heritage Motor Inn; camping at Chewonki's Big Eddy Campground is always a good experience. All through the summertime months here at Jerry Pond, high temperatures generally get into the 70's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's.       The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's; overnight lows in the 0's for Jerry Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Jerry Pond is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Allagash Gateway Campsite is a pleasant local campground, and the Cedar Lake Trail is a tremendous hiking trail close by. So many exciting things to do at Jerry Pond, so little time. If the weather is brilliant here at Jerry Pond, you can go for a hike along the Gray Ledge                  Dam Trail, and a golf course nearby is Hillcrest Golf Club. Econo Lodge Inn & Suites is a pleasant place to get some rest, and there's whitewater on Penobscot River - West Branch for all you adrenaline junkies. Lakes are such serene locations, why not stop at Shad Pond in close proximity to Jerry Pond, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Millinocket Stream. Jerry Pond gets a normal amount of rain; November is when you get the most rain here, and February meanwhile is the driest month.
