Sheepscot Pond Dam is an out of the ordinary thing to check out; during your spree here you'll meet some folks from Augusta-Waterville for sure. If you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Waterville,Me is a perfect choice, and while you're here, you could also explore scenic Sheepscot Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Turner Pond is a nearby lake that you could take a look at, and Best Western       Waterville Inn is a fine place to get some rest. This place is excellent, just look at all the exciting things to do next to James Pond. One of the principal features of the surroundings of James Pond is Crummett Mountain, and if you came to camp Pine Ridge Campgrounds is a wonderful site to do that. This lake is so wonderful. Sheepscot River - West Branch has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot close by. James Pond gets a normal amount of annual rain;                  during the month of November you get the most rain around here; February is the month with the least moisture. Have a brilliant hiking adventure along the Hockomock Nature Trail, and don't forget to take a great little tour to Jones Brook. Through the summertime months highs here at James Pond get into the 80's; the nighttime is a tad cooler of course, usually in the 50's. All through the winter highs are commonly in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to James Pond.
