Going for a hike on the Hockomock Nature Trail is always a great adventure; since you're here you will meet lots of folks from close by Augusta-Waterville. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful.
Summer brings highs in the 80's to James Pond. Throughout the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's. During the winter highs are mostly in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to James Pond. On a beautiful day
you get a vista of Crummett Mountain from James Pond; a good close by hotel is Lakes Region Motel & Apartments.
