This lake is so wonderful. Jacob Buck Pond is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Shady Oaks Campground and Cabins is a glorious local campground; a magnificent nearby hotel is Best Western Fort Knox Inn. You get a brilliant panorama of Jacob Buck Mountain from Jacob Buck Pond, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at close by New Hermon Mountain. A wonderful place       to camp here at Jacob Buck Pond is Masthead Family Campground, and if you get bored of Jacob Buck Pond you could also have a look at close by Thurston Pond. So many fun things to do here at Jacob Buck Pond, too fine to be true. After a long day outdoors Hollywood Slots Hotel And Raceway is a great place to spend a night or two, and the Bald Mountain Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful. Drift down the rapids of Penobscot River in a                  kayak.
