This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Jackson Pond without first going for a hike along the Blue Trail. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Jackson Pond has to offer, you can camp at Frost Pond Campground. A typical amount of precipitation falls here at Jackson Pond; during July this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is February.       Jackson Pond is not the only site close by, Little Beaver Pond is a close by lake; everyone close by loves skiing at Big Squaw. Get your heart pumping on the tremendous whitewater of Penobscot River - West Branch, and a short spree to Big Ambejackmockamus Falls is always worthwhile. All through the warmest time of the year, highs frequently are in the 70's at Jackson Pond, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down                  to the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Jackson Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge Inn & Suites. Jackson Pond beyond doubt is in the middle of a picturesque outdoors paradise. There's so much to do here at Jackson Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Chimney Pond Campground is a perfect site for that, and you acquire a wonderful view of Sentinel Mountain from here.
