There's great hiking along the Arnolds Trail. Don't leave Island Pond without first going for a hike along the Big Squaw Mountain Trail. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Island Pond has to offer, you can camp at Northern Outdoors. Island Pond gets a common amount of annual rainfall; July is the wettest month       with most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Take a side tour to North Branch Chase Stream; you can stay the night at Enchanted Outfitters & Lodge. Yep, outdoors cool stuff to do are beyond doubt plentiful here at Island Pond. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Island Pond; Intake Trail is a delightful local trail, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at close by Horseshoe                  Pond.
