At Island Pond throughout the summertime months highs are in the 70's. Through the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 10's while Island Pond night low temperatures during the wintertime are in the-10's. The amount of rain that falls at Island Pond is close to the national average; the wettest month of the year is usually August, that's the one that rains       the most; February on the other hand is the driest. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool things next to Island Pond. Black Mountain is lovely and can be seen from Island Pond, and a lake close by is Pushineer Pond. Island Pond is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Pelletier's Campground is a splendid local campground; there are some good whitewater spots on Big Brook River. Take a hike on the Fox Brook Trail, and camping at Little Black Check                  Point is always a brilliant experience. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Island Pond Trail is wonderful fun; if you come at the right time of year, Fish River offers some magnificent whitewater. Island Pond is not the only spot nearby, Fish Pond is a nearby lake.
