You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable things at Ireland Pond. Do check out West Sawtelle Pond near Ireland Pond, it's a pretty lake; dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge Inn & Suites. Take a hike on the Millinocket Lake Tote Road. Matagamon Wilderness Campground is a nice local campground,       and if you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Millinocket Stream. Scraggly Lake is a nearby lake that you could take a look at; Ireland Pond is a pleasant site to visit for more than one day, South Branch Pond Campground is a pleasant site to camp nearby. Ireland Pond gets a normal amount of annual rain; the month with most of the rain is July, and February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater                  paddling is tremendous on Munsungan Stream, and hiking along the Munsungan Lake Tote Road is wonderful fun. For the duration of the summertime at Ireland Pond highs are usually in the 70's. Summer night lows descend down to the 50's.
