An average amount of precipitation falls at Indian Pond; all through the month of July you get the most rain around here; the driest of the months is February. Indian Pond is not the only spot close by, Bog Pond is a close by lake, and there are some great whitewater spots on Ellis Brook.       Big Squaw is a very popular ski area in the vicinity, and perfect hiking is available along the Telephone Trail. That right there is lots already, but it keeps on going; Indian Pond has it all. Bog Brook is near Indian Pond and is always a pleasure to stop by; don't leave Indian Pond without first going for a hike along the Carry Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
