If you are traveling by, why not stop by Indian Pond. There are some good whitewater spots on Smith Brook. There's so much to do here at Indian Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Frost Pond Campground is a splendid place for that. If you come at the right time of year, Ellis Brook offers some tremendous whitewater, and there are wonderful spots to explore along the Carry Trail. This lake is so wonderful. | | upon during your stay, and don't leave Indian Pond without first going for a hike along the Telephone Trail. This place, Indian Pond, it just has so much outdoors enjoyable stuff. Head up to Big Squaw and strap some skis to your feet, and magnificent hiking is available along the Chase Carry. From a rain point of view Indian Pond is a rather common site; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain, and February is the month with the least | |

moisture. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Indian Pond. During the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and overnight lows all through the wintertime for Indian Pond tend to be in the-10's.
