take a hike along the Mount Megunticook Trail. Here at Hurds Pond there are plenty of folks from Rockland; Londonderry Inn is a perfect site to get some rest. A typical amount of precipitation falls here at Hurds Pond; the month with
most of the rain is November; February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby New Hermon Mountain, and dry warm beds await you at Seascape Motel
& Cottages. If you came for an overnight stay Moorings Oceanfront RV Resort is a perfect place to camp, and an afternoon playing golf at Searsport Pines Golf Course is always a bliss. If the weather is magnificent here at Hurds
Pond, you can go for a hike along the Mount Battie Trail, and you can hit the slopes at Camden in close proximity. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this location. While you're here at Hurds Pond, you could also go to delightful Upper Mason Pond; why not take a little journey to Marsh Fork if you're here.
