If you are in Hancock county it's always a good idea to stop by Hurd Pond. Don't leave Hurd Pond without first going for a hike along the Bald Mountain Trail, and Phillips Lake Dam is a lovely site, unquestionably worth going to. Dry warm beds await you at Courtyard Bangor. This lake is so wonderful. Red Barn RV Park is a splendid local campground, and there's glorious hiking along the Peaked Mountain Trail. And if you're still looking for more outdoors

| | fun stuff just keep reading. Drift down the rapids of Narramissic River in a kayak, and Branch Lake Camping Area is a magnificent campground nearby. University Inn Academic Suites is a wonderful place to get some rest, and the Blue Hill Trail offers hiking at its best. Summertime highs at Hurd Pond regularly tend to be in the 70's. Summer night lows sink down to the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight | |

here at Hurd Pond. This lake is so wonderful. At Hurd Pond you can see Button Hill, and do take a look at Saulter Pond, it's a wonderful lake. Lucerne Golf Course is a great golf course close by, and you'll stumble on a pretty
lake called Phillips Lake. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Penobscot River, and skiing at New Hermon Mountain is one of those things you just have to do. Hurd Pond gets a common amount of rain; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month.
