Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by nearby Mud Lake; you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Bigrock while you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are pleasant; Johnson Pond is a lake that's in close proximity to Hunter Pond, and you can have a delightful       hiking adventure along the Pierce Tote Road. The warmest time of the year at Hunter Pond comes with high temperatures in the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's; overnight lows in the 0's for Hunter Pond.
