This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Pierce Tote Road will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. This lake is so wonderful. Hunter Pond is not the only place close by, Johnson Pond is a close by lake, and naturally Foss Brook flows through this region. An average amount of rainfall falls at Hunter Pond; of all the months in a       year July is the one with the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. High temperatures at Hunter Pond during the months of summer are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 20's, and nighttime lows at Hunter Pond through the wintertime usually fall into the 0's. You could also explore Mud Lake while you're here at Hunter Pond; it's nearby, and a great close                  by hotel is Scottish Inns Houlton. Really perfect skiing awaits you at Bigrock, and if the weather is glorious, you can go for a hike along the Kennedy Tote Road. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Hunter Pond. Camping at My Brothers Place is always a good experience, and you can run the rapids of Meduxnekeag River - South Branch.
