There's magnificent hiking along the Pierce Tote Road, and get your heart beating on the delightful whitewater of Meduxnekeag River - South Branch. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Hunter Pond; Kennedy Tote Road is a delightful local trail; a nice close by hotel is Shiretown Motor Inn. Hit the slopes at Bigrock nearby. site had this much outdoors fun things, what a great earth it would be. Camping at Wilde Pines Campground is always a tremendous experience, and you can run the rapids of B Stream. For the duration of the warmest time of the year
here at Hunter Pond, high temperatures frequently get into the 70's. Summer overnight lows sink down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's while Hunter Pond night low temperatures during the winter are in the 0's.
