You'll stumble on a striking lake called Blunder Pond near Hudson Pond, and if you need a spot to stay Katahdin Inn is a delightful choice. Webster Brook has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot nearby, and paddling on Nesowadnehunk Stream River is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Hudson Pond, you could also take a look at beautiful Lost Pond, and on a glorious day you can take a hike along       the Freezeout Road. Hudson Pond gets a typical amount of yearly rainfall; through July this area sees the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. For the period of the summer months highs here at Hudson Pond reach the 70's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. Through the winter highs are frequently in the 20's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Hudson Pond. This lake is so wonderful. There is a wonderful hiking                  trail in close proximity to Hudson Pond called the Old Pogy Road, and Hudson Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Chimney Pond Campground is a great local campground. If you want a delightful time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Hudson Pond. There's so much to do here at Hudson Pond that you need to camp here for a while, South Branch Pond Campground is a great spot for that, and it's a perfect idea to have a look at Hudson Brook.
