The nice people of Rockland like to hang out close by; you can stay the night at Loon's Cry Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Loons Cry Campground is a pleasant campground nearby, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Mount Battie Trail. Throughout the summer months here at Howard Pond, high temperatures       ordinarily get into the 70's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are typically in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Howard Pond are in the 0's. If you like the outdoors, you'll like Howard Pond. A magnificent nearby hotel is Island View Inn, as expected you could also have a look at Fresh Pond if you're here; it's not far at all.
