Try Beaver Brook. This lake is so wonderful. There's splendid hiking along the Eagle Lake Trail; you'll come across a beautiful lake called Mattakeunk Pond. High temperatures at House Pond through the warm days of summer are in the 70's, and the overnight is a little colder of course, frequently in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's, and       overnight lows in the 0's for House Pond. This is a popular location for people from Bangor. The annual precipitation here at House Pond is about average; most of the rain falls throughout November, and February is when it's the driest. And that's not all you can do here at House Pond.
