Throughout the warm days of summer highs here at Hound Brook Lake get into the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. All through the winter the highs are mostly in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Hound Brook Lake sink into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. If you like swamps, you're in luck, Haycock Bog is right       close by, and there are other locations here than Hound Brook Lake, for example Simsquish Lake. Lots of rain falls at Hound Brook Lake; November is the wettest month with most rain; the driest month is June. A tour to Meetinghouse Rips will fill your spirit with fine feelings, and you can run the rapids of St. Croix River.
