Lakes? Sure, Blood Lake is in the neighborhood, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Depot Stream. From a rain point of view Houlton Pond is a pretty common place; the wettest month of the year is typically July, that's the one that rains the most, and February on the other hand is the driest.
