Hosmer Pond is a glorious site to camp, Roberts Roost Campground is a glorious site, and the snow is delightful at Camden. Soar down the rapids of Ducktrap River in a kayak; during your stay here do go to nearby Laite Memorial Beach. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Hosmer Pond; Mount Megunticook Trail is a splendid local trail, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always       pop by nearby Mirror Lake. There's some attention-grabbing stuff to spot at Mirror Lake Dam near Hosmer Pond, and lots of people from Rockland come here. But wait, there's more to do near Hosmer Pond. Get covered with water paddling on Oyster River. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Hosmer Pond has to offer, you can camp at Camden Hills RV Resort. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Hosmer Pond; during summer nights temperatures are in the                  50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Hosmer Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Enjoy a round of golf at Goose River Golf Course not far from Hosmer Pond, and dry warm beds await you at Blue Harbor House Inn. There's pleasant hiking along the Ragged Mountain Trail; The Country Inn Camden-Rckprt is a wonderful place to get some rest. Just can't get enough of Hosmer Pond. Hosmer Pond is a wet location that gets a lot of precipitation; during the month of November you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is July.
