If you have a thing about the outdoors, you'll love Hosmer Pond. You'll hit upon a charming lake called Tolman Pond near Hosmer Pond, and
if you're here you can take a hike along the Mount Megunticook Trail. Bald Mountain is clearly visible from Hosmer Pond, and the skiing at Camden is splendid. Throughout the months of summer at Hosmer Pond highs are generally in the
70's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Hosmer Pond.
This lake is so wonderful. There's so much
to do here at Hosmer Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Camden Hills RV Resort is a brilliant site for that, and going for a hike along the Ragged Mountain Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. A
good place for whitewater paddling near Hosmer Pond is Oyster River, and if you need a site to stay The Country Inn Camden-Rckprt is a delightful choice.
