     Here at Horseshoe Pond you can spot Campbell Meadow Hill; a delightful place to camp here at Horseshoe Pond is Sunset Point Campground. Blueberry Barrens is a great spot, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Narraguagus River. Horseshoe Pond is a pretty wet place frequently with a good deal of precipitation; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain, and August is when it's the driest. Bar Harbor  
   Inn is a wonderful place to get some rest, and swamps can be such out of the ordinary sites, have a look at Campbell Meadow since you're here at Horseshoe Pond.
This lake is so wonderful. Taking a little journey to nearby Trout Cove is a wonderful idea, and a scenic lake like East Pike Brook Pond is a nice location to stop at. For the duration of the warm months, highs mostly are in the 70's at Horseshoe Pond, and during summer nights temperatures are in
 
               the 50's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Horseshoe Pond through the wintertime mostly dip into the 10's.
The scenic Thousand Hills is here at Horseshoe Pond, and of course Bog Stream flows through this vicinity. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such serene locations, why not check out West Pike Brook Pond near Horseshoe Pond, and do take a hike on the Lead Mountain Trail. All the outdoors fun stuff right next door to Horseshoe Pond will keep you coming back persistently. If you come at the right time of year, Pleasant River offers some good whitewater, and Horseshoe Pond is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Mainayr Campground is a glorious local campground.
